Waterpark Simulator Updates

Waterpark Simulator's current public semantic version is **1.0.50**. CayPlay published `UPDATE 1.0.50 - Patch Notes` on August 11, 2026 after the July 31 full release and the 1.0.21–1.0.48 launch-week fixes. The current Steam store lists the full release date, Online Co-op, 71 achievements, Steam Cloud, and Windows as the native platform for base-game AppID 3293260.

Waterpark Simulator’s current public semantic version is 1.0.50. CayPlay published UPDATE 1.0.50 - Patch Notes on August 11, 2026 after the July 31 full release and the 1.0.21–1.0.48 launch-week fixes. The current Steam store lists the full release date, Online Co-op, 71 achievements, Steam Cloud, and Windows as the native platform for base-game AppID 3293260.

Use the patch pages when a current behavior differs from a launch video. 1.0.50 covers the Mafia, friends-only lobby, Saboteur, and tablet-ban changes. 1.0.48 covers staff quitting controls, pool movement, placement-rate protection, and display fixes. 1.0.43 covers host settings, Saboteurs, Mafia retaliation, staff quitting, and a broad fix list. 1.0.21–1.0.31 covers Steam file verification, host permissions, UI scaling, Museum missions, achievements, saving, and early launch fixes.

This tracker records released changes, not rumors or raw depot numbers. A Steam BuildID identifies a technical build and is not presented as the game’s public semantic version.

Current status and product boundary

The canonical game is Waterpark Simulator, AppID 3293260, developed and published by CayPlay. It left Early Access with version 1.0 on July 31, 2026 and reached the publicly named 1.0.50 patch on August 11. Current Steam metadata lists a native Windows build; it does not list native macOS or Linux support.

The separate Waterpark Simulator Demo is AppID 3730180. Its July 31 notice says old Demo saves are incompatible with the newly updated Demo, while new Demo saves can open in the full game and then cannot return to the Demo. That is a Demo product rule, not a base-game patch feature.

Waterpark Simulator Soundtrack is AppID 4811280 and is typed as music. It can appear alongside base-game content but is not gameplay DLC, an edition, or a source of mechanics.

What version 1.0 released

CayPlay’s launch notes confirm multiplayer for a host plus up to three friends or strangers, using either a new park or an existing park, with optional proximity voice. The same notes add multiplayer communication tools including walkie-talkies, a megaphone, and a trumpet. Spray-can use is disabled in multiplayer.

Building additions include customizable slides, the Beach map, new City content, three themes, themed research, large slides, weather, night operation, ziplines, and functional benches. Beach requires a new park because layouts are not transferable.

Progression additions include the Museum, three NPCs, three questlines, one currency per line, Aztec/Sea/Pirate research trees, and diamond prestige. The optional Mafia content offers dubious loans and a mini questline whose further consequences CayPlay intentionally leaves for players to discover.

Management additions include Security, Mascots, complete attraction breakdowns, weather effects, special events, a popcorn stand, optional night shifts with extra staff expense, guest sickness behavior, and a setting that disables guest sickness.

Character customization supports up to five saved character slots according to the release notes. Several tools and guest interactions were also added, alongside broad memory and performance improvements.

For a structured, source-by-source inventory, read the 1.0 launch guide.

Released changes versus roadmap

The official July 4 post discussed an in-game poll for future 1.1 content. The audit records a lazy river as the vote priority, but a poll result is not a release notice. This tracker will keep it in roadmap status until CayPlay publishes a post saying it shipped.

Likewise, preview posts for Museum, themes, custom slides, weather, night, Beach, Security, Mascots, Mafia, communications, and character customization were forward-looking before July 31. The 1.0 launch post now lists those features under released “NEW STUFF,” so their status changed from preview to released.

No guaranteed future version is inferred from CayPlay’s stated intention to slow the launch-week update pace. A plan to aim for weekly updates is not a promise of a fixed cadence, and small urgent fixes may be rolled into a later published note.

Pages affected by the 1.0 release

The beginner guide uses the released tutorial, management loop, prestige, and map boundaries. Exact difficulty values still require a live 1.0 capture.

Building covers released custom slides, City and Beach separation, themes, weather, night, benches, and ziplines. Geometry, costs, and editor limits are not inferred from promotional text.

Management covers released staff and guest systems, including Security, Mascots, breakdowns, sickness, weather, and overtime. Balance values remain update-sensitive.

Progression covers the Museum architecture, theme research, Mafia choice boundary, map goals, and diamond prestige without inventing quest or currency details.

Multiplayer now separates published host permissions from unverified persistence. Versions 1.0.28–1.0.50 added second-computer permission controls, painting and Caymart host settings, lobby bans, placement-rate protection, and stronger friends-only lobby safeguards. Host migration, client save ownership, cross-play, and cross-save remain unverified.

Achievements uses Steam’s current 71-entry public list. A future patch can add or change entries, so the count and descriptions carry a check date.

Troubleshooting follows CayPlay’s pinned support paths. Hardware, controller, Deck, Proton, and mod behavior must be retested after relevant changes.

How this tracker verifies an update

A new timeline entry needs a developer-authored Steam post, current exact-AppID store metadata, or another CayPlay-controlled source. The entry records publication date, author type, AppID, semantic version when stated, branch or platform boundary, and the pages affected.

Steam Community discussions written by players can reveal a recurring problem but are not official patch notes. A post is treated as first party only when the author is visibly marked as the developer or it appears in the official announcement feed.

Third-party depot data can help detect a changed build, but a BuildID is not converted into a semantic version. Compatibility telemetry is labeled with its observation date and tested build.

Roadmap, poll, and preview items remain separate from released changes. A trailer or screenshot can confirm that CayPlay showed a feature; the launch post or live current store must confirm it shipped.
