The Waterpark Simulator Database is a fast lookup layer for the Steam base game, AppID 3293260. Use it when you already know the kind of thing you need—an attraction, a research route, or a staff role—and want its source, purpose, version boundary, and evidence status without reading a full walkthrough first. The database is deliberately separate from Building, Progression, and Management: those sections teach decisions and routes, while this section helps you compare named records.
The current baseline is the native Windows public branch at version 1.0.50. Official launch and patch notes identify many systems but do not publish every cost, dimension, research node, wage, or random stat. Unknown fields are left out instead of filled with old Early Access values. Each index therefore says whether a record is official, developer-confirmed in a discussion, community reported, or still dependent on a current in-game check.
Choose the index that answers your question
Attractions Index
Compare released pools, slides, movement structures, guest facilities, and large theme rewards by type, source, role, patch note, and verification status.
Research Index
Separate the office Research Table from the Museum's three currency trees, then follow known star gates, unlock sources, and completion checks.
Staff Index
Match ticketing, cleaning, maintenance, lifeguard, restocking, vendor, Security, and Mascot work to the problem each role is meant to solve.
Start with Attractions when a build-menu name, pool, slide, or utility is unclear. Start with Research when an item is visible but locked, Museum tokens appear unusable, or Nothing Left to Learn has not unlocked. Start with Staff when a recurring task needs an employee or a star-marked candidate appears in recruitment.
Read every record by evidence, not by confidence theater
An Official record is named or described by CayPlay on the exact AppID’s store page, official News Hub, patch notes, or a developer-marked Steam reply. This status can establish that a feature exists, where CayPlay says it belongs, and what a patch changed. It does not automatically establish a hidden formula or every current value.
A Community reported record comes from a directly relevant player guide or discussion. It is useful for finding the right screen, name, or test, but it can be incomplete, version-specific, or based on one save. The index keeps that label visible so you can decide whether to act on it.
Needs live verification means the useful field is not reliable enough to publish as a fact. Examples include exact staff wages, the complete 1.0.50 research tree, Wonder Attraction dimensions, and whether a value is fixed or rolled per candidate. The page still gives the next useful route; it does not turn the missing field into the main content.
Keep base-game records separate from related Steam apps
All gameplay records here belong to Waterpark Simulator AppID 3293260. The Demo is AppID 3730180 and has a separate content and save boundary. A Demo result is not silently copied into a full-game entry. The downloadable soundtrack, AppID 4811280, is music content and does not add attractions, research, or staff.
The older game that also uses the name Waterpark Simulator, AppID 1362910, is unrelated. Its objects, files, developers, and guides are excluded. This identity rule matters most when a search result shows an old screenshot or an unlabeled download.
The Steam base game is listed as native Windows. Steam Deck and Proton can be discussed as compatibility layers in Troubleshooting, but they do not change the database’s native-platform field.
Use Attractions for build-menu and unlock questions
The Attractions Index is organized by what an object does rather than by a speculative tier list. Slides and pools create guest activity; benches support energy; ziplines move players and visitors; food facilities support service; Water Blobs and basketball hoops add pool interaction; the three Museum branches culminate in large themed slides.
For every known entry, look first at Source or unlock. “Released in 1.0” means the object or system appears in CayPlay’s launch inventory. “Research Table” means an official update or developer reply places it behind research. “Museum branch” means the official 1.0 notes connect it to one of the three theme-currency trees. If the exact node or cost is absent, follow the linked Research record rather than guessing.
Patch history is part of the object record. The 1.0.43 notes fixed an Ocean Pool clipping problem, a missing collider on some three-star pools, and Duck slide paint persistence. The 1.0.48 notes fixed another three-star-pool issue and allowed all multiplayer players to move pools that contain blobs. These notes help diagnose a current problem and show why an old video may behave differently.
Use Research as two connected systems
The normal park Research Table and the Museum research tables should not be treated as one currency pool. A developer-marked Steam reply says the office table unlocks near the end of the tutorial at zero stars, while most sections require at least one star and show star gates above them. CayPlay’s 1.0 notes separately establish three Museum NPC questlines, three currencies, and the Aztec, Sea, and Pirate trees.
If ordinary research is locked, check the park star shown above that section and whether the item also needs money. If Museum tokens seem unusable, go to the Museum: a recent player report identifies a separate research table there, which matches the official separation between Museum currencies and standard research. Treat the table location as community reported until you confirm it in your current save.
Nothing Left to Learn requires all research on Normal or Hard according to the current Steam achievement description. Do not use Sandbox as a substitute unless the achievement actually advances. The index provides a completion audit that separates standard nodes from all three Museum branches, reducing the chance that an off-screen or alternate-currency node is missed.
Use Staff by duty before comparing candidates
The Staff Index begins with the job, not the biggest percentage on a recruitment card. Ticket Masters operate ticketing, Cleaners handle recurring mess, Maintenance workers repair, Lifeguards respond around water attractions, Restockers supply vending, and Vendors operate food or drink service. CayPlay added Security and Mascots in 1.0: Security handles disruptive guests, while Mascots support happiness and boredom.
Star Employees are special named candidates, but community observations show that displayed wages and stats can vary or be misunderstood after updates. The index names only candidates with a traceable source and avoids publishing a permanent “best” ranking from one roll. When you see a star candidate, compare duty coverage, wage, efficiency, precision, speed, endurance, and break behavior on the current recruitment screen.
Version 1.0.43 added staff quitting after repeated player bullying, a notification, and a red warning state. Version 1.0.48 prevents quitting on Easy and Sandbox and adds an accessibility option to disable Staff Quitting and NPC retaliation. These are operating rules, so the index links back to the full Staff Guide for hiring and recovery decisions.
Follow a lookup with the right full guide
An index record tells you what the current evidence supports. The full guide tells you how to use it. Open Custom Slides for a design-and-test route, Museum for quest currencies, Research for unlock order, Staff for workload diagnosis, and Host Permissions before changing a shared park.
For a patch-sensitive entry, read Updates before troubleshooting. Version 1.0.50 is the current official semantic version as of August 11, 2026; a Steam BuildID is not used as a substitute for that public label.
Database questions
Is this a complete list of every build-menu item?
No. It is a currently documented index of records supported by official or clearly labeled community evidence. A complete build-menu export still requires a controlled 1.0.50 capture.
Why are costs and dimensions missing from some cards?
CayPlay’s public notes do not provide a full current table, and older values can change. Unknown fields remain unset until they can be tied to the public version, map, difficulty, and screen.
Does Database replace the existing guides?
No. It shortens lookup. Building, Management, Progression, Multiplayer, Achievements, and Troubleshooting remain the canonical places for decisions and step-by-step play.
Are Codes included?
No verified in-game redemption system exists for this title. Steam product keys, trainers, console commands, and third-party promotions are different intents and are not placed in this database.
