Waterpark Simulator 1.0 adds three themed research branches: Aztec, Sea, and Pirate. CayPlay says each branch is tied to one Museum questline and its own currency, unlocks themed construction items, and ends with a massive slide. Those facts define the structure; the official announcement does not provide every item name, price, currency label, or research cost.
Build with that evidence boundary in mind. First earn and inspect an unlock in the current game, then decide where it belongs. Avoid laying out an entire district from an unverified pre-release item list.
Connect building plans to progression
The themes are not merely a color menu. They come through Museum progression. Visit the Museum guide for the verified three-NPC, three-questline structure, and use the theme progression page for research decisions.
Before construction, record which branch supplied the unlock and what the live interface calls it. A screenshot of the research panel and the build catalog establishes current terminology. Do not assume that similarly styled objects belong to the same currency or stage.
Reserve a test area near an existing service route. Newly unlocked pieces should be placed and inspected before they become part of a large permanent composition.
Give each district a readable identity
Use theme pieces to make navigation easier. An Aztec zone, Sea zone, or Pirate zone can act as a landmark for guests and multiplayer collaborators. Keep the main path visible and make attraction entrances distinct from decoration.
Avoid mixing all three sets at one congested junction. A clear transition between districts makes it easier to identify where a queue, mess, or broken attraction belongs. It also lets you expand one branch without rebuilding the other two.
Theme identity should not block operation. Walk through the area in first person and check sight lines to pools, slide endpoints, food, and service routes.
Prototype around one functional attraction
Choose one working pool or slide as the anchor. Add a small number of verified theme objects and observe whether guests and staff still move correctly. Decoration that overlaps an approach or hides an endpoint can create a practical failure even if placement is technically allowed.
Open the zone, watch traffic, and run a cleaning-and-repair patrol. If the themed build makes an incident harder to see, remove or reposition the obstructing piece. Operational clarity is a better test than screenshot density.
Do not state that a theme changes revenue, happiness, or attraction performance unless the public build displays or demonstrates that mechanic. The 1.0 announcement confirms content branches, not hidden bonuses.
Prepare for the branch-ending slide
Each theme branch ends in a massive slide, according to CayPlay. Preserve enough space and access for that future attraction, but do not guess its footprint. A large empty rectangle based on an old screenshot may waste the park.
Instead, keep one expansion direction open and avoid sealing it behind essential services. When the actual slide unlocks, use its current placement preview to determine the required area. Save before reorganizing the district.
Connect the large attraction in stages. Verify its start and endpoint, guest approach, landing area, and maintenance route before surrounding it with final decoration.
Use Sea theme without assuming map bonuses
The Sea branch naturally suits the Beach setting, yet no audited first-party source claims a mechanical bonus for pairing them. Treat the relationship as visual unless the live interface says otherwise.
The same caution applies to Aztec and Pirate pieces. A theme name does not prove a special guest preference, prestige multiplier, or unique map restriction. Label observed results and distinguish them from design choices.
This separation keeps the guide valid if CayPlay later adjusts balance while leaving the construction catalog intact.
Coordinate themed builds in multiplayer
The 1.0 release supports a player plus up to three others in a new or existing park. Divide work by zone or role before several players edit the same district. One person can handle the main attraction, another the path and services, and another the visual layer.
Official notes do not establish edit permissions or conflict resolution. Save before a major group build and agree on a rollback point. Use the communication tools described in the voice guide to call out deletions or structural changes.
Keep a current theme inventory
For each unlocked object, record its displayed name, branch, research position, live cost, version, and any placement restrictions shown by the game. Mark observations as tested rather than copying an unverified full list.
After a patch, check the research panel and a representative build from each branch. Update costs or names only from current evidence. The stable idea is the three-branch structure; the volatile layer is the exact catalog and balance.
A successful themed district remains usable when the decoration is ignored: guests can reach attractions, workers can service them, and the branch-ending slide has a plausible future connection. That is the foundation on which the visual story belongs.
